Alan Turing

Alan Turing was born near London on June 23, 1912. Turning designed some of the world's first computers, during WWII. In the early 50's he experimented with artificial intelligence. He committed suicide in 1954 and his colleagues believed it was the result of being blackmailed over his homosexuality.
