I recieved this photo from someone in a newsgroup before I had even started this page.
It appears asthough Zancou Chicken is a type of dish, or at least a restaurant, and Beck used it in this song as a sort of petname.

It reminds me of the French term "petit chou" which means "little cabbage". It is meant to show affection. Beck's term however rhymes nicely with "Like a fruit that's ripe for the pickin'..."
