I asked Jesus what I should write about next, and He told me to write about Love. There is a story which I will relate to you, that I recently experienced; about how True Love, or Agape Love, works in our lives. The definition for Agape is: A state of unconditional love for everything. This is considered the ultimate goal of all sentient evolution. It is in fact, perfect Love from God.
My story begins about a week ago, the last week of January, 2006. There is a Lady friend I had at a Christian Forum, who I disagreed with about a political subject, a few years back. I was so upset that she couldn't see what I was seeing, that I left her forum, and have never been back since. This was a good example of how politics and religion just didn't mix. Over the years I thought of her, and wondered how she was doing, and I prayed for her, but I never thought I'd talk to her again.
Well I have been thinking about her this past week, and felt rather drawn to talk to her again, yet I didn't follow my heart to find her. In creating this website, I asked Jesus what the next subject should be that I should talk about. He answered me and told me that I should talk about love. This was the morning of February 1st. Then Jesus added that He wanted me to find my friend, and to apologize for leaving her like I did. He told me that maybe we didn't agree on this matter, but that she was my spiritual sister. I knew Jesus was guiding me to do what was right, and in my heart I felt the need to speak to her again. So I searched the internet for her forum. Well, the entire day passed, and I couldn't find her forum. I was exhausted from this experience, and knew reasonably that I probably wouldn't find her again, but I also knew Jesus wouldn't have told me to do this; if He didn't know I could find her. So, finally I found some small print in one of the search engine returns, and it was her! I had in fact over-looked this one page, all day long! It was a clear example of Satan trying to stop what Jesus wanted me to do.
When I got to the forum, I looked at the time, and it was exactly midnight. I thought how weird! It was the day of Candle Mass or the Festival of Lights, celebrated around the world by many Christians. The forum was different, and it took some time to figure out where to make a post at. Finally, I found a section to post in, and I read one of the posts there, and discovered that my friend had gone into the hospital for surgery at 6:00 a.m. that morning! I immediately prayed for her, and felt so badly because I had turned my back on my friend for so long. I cried thinking how terrible I had been.
Now I realize why Jesus wanted me to write about love. I need to learn more about Agape Love, just as others do. Love and forgiveness go hand in hand. So I hope and pray that I have sent a message to others through this story. Folks, no matter what our differences are, love is the answer for us all. No need to harbor ill feelings toward each other, especially if we are brothers and sisters in the Lord; as this only makes the problems worse and doesn't mend anything. Love follows forgiveness, and now I know why if we can't forgive others, that Jesus can't forgive us either. Forgive the little things folks, because we only have a short time here, and the Blessings of the Lord Jesus are there, if we only want the Blessings He is offering us. God is truly great!

Jesus says there are two commandments. The first commandment is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind; and the second commandment is to love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus says on these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. (See Matthew Ch 22 vs 36-40). Love is so important that Jesus based the two commandments on love. Another verse says that God is love. (See John Ch 4 vs 8 & 16). So, what this means is that the source of love, is God! Paul says in the book of Romans that if we love one another, that we have fulfilled the law. (See Romans Ch 13 vs8).
Jesus tells us to love our enemies, not only our families and friends. (See Matthew Ch 5 vs 43-48). This is probably easier said than done folks, but with God all things are possible!
God proved His love toward mankind in many ways, but the ultimate proof is when He sent His only Son into the world, to die for our sins, so that we might be saved. What an extraordinary act of love this really is! God is truly great and good. (See John Ch 3 vs 16 & 17). Paul says in the book of Ephesians, that the love of Christ, passeth all knowledge. (See Ephesians Ch 3 vs 19). In other words, the love we experience from Jesus is beyond knowledge, and can only be experienced; not even able to be related to another in words; as words would not be enough to describe His perfect love for us. As humans, our worlds are limited, but with God there are no limitations.
We are told by Jesus to love one another, even as He has loved us. (See John Ch 13 vs 34 & 35). Also, Jesus says as His Father in heaven loves Him, so He loves us. (See John Ch 15 vs 9-10). Jesus says that the Father in heaven loves us, because we have loved Him, and believed that Jesus came from the Father in heaven. (See John Ch 16 vs 27). Jesus goes on to say that as the Father in heaven has loved Him, may this same love, also be in us. (See John Ch 17 vs 25-26).
We are also told by Jesus, that no man has a greater love, than a man who lays his life down, for his friends. (See John Ch 15 vs 13). There are a lot of men and women who have gone to war and laid down their lives for their friends. God Bless them all! We shall see them in the Kingdom of God!
Paul says in the book of Romans, that nothing can seperate us from the love of God, not tribulation, suffering, persecution, famine, or even death. God's love goes beyond the grave and is eternal! (See Romans Ch 8 vs 35-39).
For those who are married, Paul says that the husbands should love their wives, even as Christ loves the church. (See Ephesians Ch 5 vs 25 & 28 & 33). Paul aIso says that the husbands should not be bitter towards their wives. (See Colossians Ch 3 vs 19). I believe this is important to point out today, because so many have lost their ways, and have resorted to cruelty towards their wives. The Lord Jesus can restore the soul of anyone who seeks Him, and if you have lost your way; Jesus is there waiting to hear from you, so that He may Bless you and your marriage, abundantly. The Lord can introduce a new love into your marriage, that will never die, and can only grow; as long as you believe in Him! This is great news for so many today. In my own marriage, me and my husband had many problems, but with the help of Jesus, my husband came to love me more today; then the day we got married. I love him more than I did the day we married, also. Some wives today find it hard to love their husbands and their children. But Jesus can change anyone who really wants to walk in the light of God. (See Titus Ch 2 vs 4).
There is a promise for us, that if we keep the words of Jesus, the love of God is perfected in us. (See I John Ch 2 vs 5). The Father in heaven loves us so much, that we are called the sons of God. (See I John ch 3 vs 1).
