About Me index1

My Name is Barbara. My husbands name is Sal. I am 55 years old and Sal is 62. The above picture is from a Christmas about 8 years ago. I have three children, one boy and two girls. None of my chidren live where I do, in Ohio; so I don't get to see my grandchildren as often as I'd like to. I have 10 grandchildren, and praise the Lord for them all! My mother is 78 years old and lives with us. She is a blessing to us.

We don't attend a church at this time, and we are hoping that perhaps we might open a home-church. I have been praying about this, and only time will tell if the Lord is guiding us to do so.

We have fellowship online with a Christ In Pogo Ministries Forum. I am grateful for my brothers and sisters in the Lord, online. God Bless them all!

I decided to write about The Kingdom of God because it seems to be a subject that isn't emphasized enough in the church, among the people. I have read the Bible all of my life, and am learned in the word of God through my own studies. I love reading the Bible, and am greatly inspired by the words of our Lord, and the prophets. My life would be empty and without meaning if I didn't know Jesus personally. Me and my husband married because of our belief in Jesus, and without Him our marriage would cease to have meaning. We are glad we serve God, and this brings a lot of joy into our relationship. We know how fortunate we are to be together, with Jesus, in our lives.

My health isn't very good, as of the past 10 years. I had a brain tumor removal in 2002, and since then I am better, but the side affects aren't easy to live with. I have most of my memory intact, praise the Lord for that! I have other illnesses also, and I ask for your prayers.

I enjoy gardening, reading, some painting with acrylics, and I play the congas, and am learning the Kinnor Harp, or King David's Harp, and I am learning to play a Navajo flute.

I hope you enjoy the website, if you have any questions or comments, or prayer requests, please email me anytime. God Bless you and your family!
