Online Tuition Class –
General Information
Online classes are informal, with personalized tuition lessons. You specify the number of lessons you can handle each week and a study plan is worked out from there. Lessons are conducted through email and live chats. Below is the outline of how the online classes are conducted.
1. Each subject tutored are divided into lessons.
2. Each lesson consists of:
a. Notes
b. Exercises/Assignments
c. 30-min live discussion via any chat application (eg. ICQ, MSN Messenger, Yahoo Chat)
3. All lessons are emailed to you.
4. You choose the number of lessons you need for each week. This allows flexibility of time.
5. In each lesson, one or two topics are covered depending on the length of the topic/subject.
6. The rates for each subject are based on the lessons you are taking. (See RATES below)
7. Only English and BM is used to tutor the subjects. Chinese language is not available.
Notes are emailed to you in Microsoft Word format. The notes follow the syllabus closely, but is more to-the-point and concise, to save time reading and understanding it.
The exercises and assignments are also emailed to you in Microsoft Word format. It comes together with the lesson’s notes. You set the submission deadline in every assignment. If you do not meet this deadline, the assignment would not be marked or checked.
The time and date for live discussion is set by you as well. I will meet you online at a specific time and during this 30-minute live chat, you can ask me any questions you have about the lesson. This is where I also explain certain concepts or facts. Therefore be prepared with questions before the live discussion starts.
Any other additional questions can be emailed to me anytime and I will get back to you with an answer as soon as possible. You will also have access to an online bulletin board to post questions.
The good thing about this online class is you can set your own time. Below is an example of how time is scheduled for a certain subject:

Also tell me briefly how you expect the online tuition would be.
