H ave you ever met someone that is pacifist? Well I have and I must say that it is quite a pointless belief. Really, sometimes it annoys me when people spout off about how we could end human violence if we could all just get along. Well the fact is that it�s never going to happen. Sure some people pride themselves on being non-violent, but their idiots if they think they can change human nature.

Indeed, it is in human nature to be violent and destructive. Can you recall at least one year in the history of our species when there was complete and utter peace? Forget about the Adam and Eve �story� too, tell it to the faithful. The answer is no, in fact has there even been a civilization that has ever gone without war? Probably not. Humans have a wide range of emotion. Be it love or hate, both ends of the spectrum will be used as long as we can experience them.

Look at the world, violence has always been there, some years its low, and other years its high. Like the last 2 years, they have been filled with a steadily increasing amount of death. Especially in the Arab nations. Just watch CNN, there�s bombings every day. Really, how can anyone believe there can be world peace? I�m under the impression that it is something thought up by a storyteller to give people hope. I�m not saying that there should be no rules; I�m not saying you should go on a shooting rampage for the heck of it. I believe order and law are the only things that keep our race somewhat civil.

Yeah, I have a real apocalyptic view of things. But can you say that we are not violent creatures? I agree that war and disease are horrible things, but without it can you imagine how badly the world would be over populated? Which inevitably raises questions about wonder cures and the testing being done to clone body parts to replace organs and arms, if we can cure ourselves of all ailment wouldn�t we start to over populate at an alarming rate? Maybe disease, cancers, and war are all ways nature has tried to stop us from becoming too over populated. Look at Africa. They are terribly over populated there; they breed like sex-crazed bunnies. Is it a coincidence that some of the most horrific diseases are contracted there?

Some people think a change in government could bring about peace. But I believe that is false, there has never been a perfect government; there�s always the human factor. Sure governments work on paper, but we all know power corrupts. A perfect government has never existed, so how do we know there can be one? Others believe no government, Anarchy, would solve things. But that would be really horrible; can you imagine people trying to govern themselves as a society? Things would just break down into chaos.

I don�t have the answers, but can sure see a lot of the problems. When I really look at it, I don�t think peace is possible�
