I'm not a writer, and haven't written anything since leaving high school, except the occasional letter, but I feel the need to speak out. I can't for the life of me figure out what is happening in the world. I know I'm old fashioned in many ways. A lot of my ideas and beliefs are out of favor now and I think that it's a shame. You will never convince me the world is in better shape today than it was twenty or thirty years ago. Here are just a few samples of headlines I read today.

LONDON - Refugee children in West Africa have accused dozens of aid workers of sexually abusing them, in some cases offering food rations in return for favors, say investigators from the United Nations and a major children's charity. Wednesday, February 27, 2002

GODHRA, India - A Muslim mob set fire to a train carrying Hindu activists as it returned from a religious ceremony Wednesday, killing at least 55 people, including 14 children, officials said.

Wayne County (MI) Prosecutor Michael Duggan was dumbfounded Tuesday as he announced murder charges against two 24-year-old men who allegedly opened fire on a car full of children because of a dispute over a $40 radio.

  These three items are just an example if what's in the news today, 2-27-02. Then there's the World Trade Center and the brutal murder of Wall Street journalist Daniel Pearl. They actually taped themselves cutting his throat. You'll never convince me that reasonable adult human beings did these things. It's more like we are living in a world with a bunch of raving lunatics.

These are the things I will be talking about in the next pages. I'm starting today, 2-27-02, and will try to ad a page a week. We'll see how it goes. I'm doing this for several reasons.

1. To get it out of my system. I'm told it's supposed to be some sort of therapy.
2. When my friends and family have a hard time understanding me I can just direct them here.
3. Hopefully it will start some people thinking.

Some of my meandering may seem sarcastic. That's because sometimes I get sarcastic. Some of the things may sound unbelievable. That's because they are. But I'm not making anything up. I don't have to.

The main thing to remember when reading what I have written here is������ if you don't like it or it offends you, tough. I would like to hear your opinions but it's not going to make me lose any sleep. Life is just too short.
