This year I decided to develop a summer reading club for our local homeschool group. I have also decided to make it available to anyone who would like to use it with their group. I called it "Passport to Adventure" and you can find out about it here.

This is the
webpage I made for our group. It explains the idea behind the club, the rules, FAQ's and how to participate.  There is also the Travel Log, summer reading pledge and a page of links to online book lists.

The Cover- Front
I made "passports" for the kids to keep track of the books they read. They are simply 1/4 fold greeting card sized booklets. The cover is white card stock, cut in half. (This is a single layer of cardstock. I experimented with just printing it and folding it in 1/4's, like I did the inside pages, but it was too think and bulky.) The inside pages are 1 sheet of plain white paper, folded into 1/4's. (I did this so it would be easier to print more copies using a copy machine.)

While most of the work was done on the computer, I am still a sucker for good old fashioned paste-up, so that was done on a copy machine. I will try to explain things as best I can, using pictures when I can. (Please note... the pictures are not actual size, or even in proportion to each other.) I will soon have copies of all of the papers I used that will be able to be emailed. If you are interested, please
email me.
The Cover- Back
On the inside of the cover, I put a map of the world (on the left side) and the rules to the club (on the right.)
I can't post the map here, because the copyright permission is only for personal use.
You should be able to find a map pretty easily.
