*Schoolhouse Rock: Math Rock, Creative Wonders (K-3)

*Math Rabbit`s Interactive Math Journey, The Learning Company (K-2?)

*Math Workshop Deluxe, Broderbund

*Math Blaster Series, Davidson (The Pre-Algebra , Algebra, and Geometry titles are
excellent. I am not impressed with the lower-level titles. I find them lacking in mathematical thinking and much too arcade-like. I do use them for practice, however, for kids who enjoy the arcade format.)

*Carmen Sandiego Math Detective (4-6) (I find this title lacking in mathematical thinking and imagination. I do use it occasionally for practice if a kid requests it. Sometimes a change of pace is enough to keep them going on the practice :) ......)

**Note: These are all game-based software. A large amount of instructional math software exists, but I have only seen a tiny piece of the entire field. Some are terrible, some very good, but none I`ve seen is very inspiring. The decent instructional math software titles I`ve seen are very expensive. I prefer to do concept development away from the computer and introduce, reinforce, and practice with software.
