Event Organizers & Our Purpose
The Northeast Pennsylvania Homeschool Curriculum Fair is run by a former homeschool family, Judy, Paul & Paul-Michael Van Hook, who saw the need for a homeschool fair in Northeastern PA.  We say "former" homeschool family because Paul-Michael (who was homeschooled through high school) is currently a student at Keystone College.

We hold the Fair in August for two reasons.  First, many of you attend curriculum fairs in the spring, and this fair is designed to help you get those last minute books you forgot (or could not afford) earlier in the year.  Second, many families make the decision during the summer to begin a homeschool program, but have difficulty finding materials and helpful information.

Our primary goal is to bring you a quality homeschool fair while keeping our admission prices low.  We will only charge a minimum admission fee to help cover our expenses for bringing the Fair to you.  We firmly believe you should be spending your money on your children's curricula, and not on outrageous admission fees.

We also encourage parents to bring their children to the Fair because we feel children respond more positively to books and curricula they "help" pick out.

We hope to see the Fair grow each year, with more vendors and speakers. However, to do this,
we need your help! Please let other homeschooling families know about us and what we are doing.  The more people who participate in the Fair, the more the Fair will grow and offer more to everyone.

We look forward to seeing you on August 13, 2005, at Johnson College for the Northeast Pennsylvaia Homeschool Curriculum Fair 2005.
