Buildling Musicians on the Foundation of God Through the Home
There are no prerequisites for this class. Students will learn how to hold, play, and take care of their instruments. Students will progress through the Standards of Excellence method books (cost of book included in fee). All wind and percussion instruments are taught in this class.
Advanced Ensemble, Wednesdays 12:20-1:20 Fee: $350
All students must pass an audition to be in this class. Students must know their scales up to 5 sharps and 5 flats. Students will study graded music up to grade 4 as well as complete other musical projects to increase their understanding of music as a whole. This group will perform on more occasions than the other ensembles. All wind, percussion and orchestral string instruments are included in this ensemble.
Intermediate Ensemble, Wednesdays 1:30-2:15 Fee: $350
All students must pass an audition to be in this class. Students must know their scales up to three sharps and three flats as well as their chromatic scale. Students will study graded music up to grade 2 as well as complete other musical projects to increase their understanding of music as a whole. All wind, percussion and orchestral string instruments are included in this ensemble.
