Toys
In order to avoid problems such as malocclusion from chewing on cage wires out of boredom as well as to keep your rabbit mentally stimulated, bunny safe toys are a wonderful thing.

You can find great makeshift rabbit toys out of almost anything found in the home. Cardboard boxes serve as great castles and hideouts, cardboard toilet paper tubes and paper towel rolls are perfect for hiding hay in, and empty pop cans with the tabs removed make awesome push toys.

Some more things that can serve as great rabbit toys that are often found around the house are:

Yellow pages with the front and back covered removed for shredding
Apple/Pear tree twigs and leaves (NO chemicals sprayed on)
Empty two liter pop bottles for pushing
Individual sheets of cardboard

Also look around at any department store such as Wal-Mart or Meijer for things such as the following:

Hard baby toys: key rings, rattles, toss toys, mobiles, etc.
Plastic wiffle balls/baseballs
Untreated willow baskets and untreated grapevine wreaths
Straw/seagrass mats
Hard plastic jingy dog/cat toys
Bird toys without strings/leather dangling
"Bounce Back" toys (look in the small animals section of a pet store)
Wooden spoons
"Love Links" (look in the bird section of a pet store)
