Friends are like angels 
we can feel them near-by, 
they wipe each tiny tear 
when we're sad and we cry ~ We sense their presence 
when we're feeling blue 
in the breeze gentle kiss 
with a love so true ~We don't need to call 
all we need do is think 
and a true friend appears 
in an instant wink ~Then our tears become rainbows 
and the clouds disappear 
and the sun warms our spirit 
our friend always near

The main possession of a Taurus is their sense of oneness and harmony with the earth. When you have gotten in tune with this inner sense then you will no longer feel harassed into trying to gain all the money and possessions you want just to supplement a feeling that, hereto fore, you were not able to comprehend. You have a positive effect on other peoples lives due to your sense of calmness and inner peace that acts as an inspiration. You have an earthly wisdom that is much sought after which makes you a popular person with your peers.

There is a darker side to your earthly wisdom and oneness that is your most dangerous side if not kept under control and mastered. These traits are , inertia, sluggishness and 'the beast'....grossness which comes about as a result of the fear of changes or of things you think you cannot handle. When you are overtaken with these fears you quickly attract those that will irritate you to the point of making the changes, fear or no fear and it is then that stability reasserts itself.

Ultimately you must decide on, claim, and hold to your highest values, discarding all those things in your life that is of lesser lights. This way will you be able to meet the challenges laid out for you by the stars on the day you were born. You must root out and overthrow the tendencies of greed and jealousy as vibrating to a higher level leaves no place in your life for such qualities.

Taurus loves luxury and beauty, so "roughing it" is not the Taurus style! Taurus will love going to a resort in a lush mountain setting, or with a pretty lake vista. Sun Valley, Aspen, Sweden or Switzerland would be good ideas, as would be anywhere in New England during the height of the fall foliage. Taurus' love of music is legendary, so they might like the summer music festival in Salzburg, Austria.

Another idea would be to stay at a chateaux-turned-hotel in the South of France, where Taurus could combine their love of scenery with their interest in great food and wine. A wine-tasting tour in Sonoma Valley California can be done for a weekend--or even a whole week. If the trip is planned for winter, the snowy wonderland setting would suit Taurus' romantic side, so if the chateaux has a comfy couch in front of a roaring fireplace, your Taurus will be in seventh heaven.

Lastly, don't over-do the daily schedule a trip with Taurus. They like to relax on their getaways, and enjoy the personality of a place by letting it all sink in slowly. Browsing in galleries, book shops and boutiques is something that helps Taurus unwind. Women Taurus particularly appreciate time for some pampering and beauty treatments. To Taurus, a vacation means a chance to experience out-of-the-ordinary sensory satisfaction. Taurus, you may have a point!
