The Giant & the Sun
Shaking like the thinnest leaf in the air that promise cold nights
with a message from a sleeping sun;
"If you are cold there's one thing you should know", she says.
"I need this sleep to drink from the fountain of endless energy.
But tomorrow I will warm your head" I swear to God that's what she said,
but that was yesterday and she's not here today.
   By the little, dying fire I find comfort in being sad
   'cause when she does return her embrace will feel like
   being held by someone I love...

I'd like to stand on the shoes of the giant
that sets his footprints in the path of time.
He walks so perfectly along the line.
And the giants name is Progress
and it's he that does create all these holes we fall into,
but imagine being on his head and see the future shine
instead of trying to controle what we can't reach.
   And in my mind I fly until I reach the top of his head;
   Two steps more and I can see that she awakes with a wonderful smile!

       Time stands still in this little room of silence.
       May we blossom infront of each other
       and read each others face with expressions  of our first happiness.
       Sharpen your senses in this room without walls
       and dive into the ocean that feeds itself on tears
       We've got so much to learn...

I was in a holy house today and I tried to find some presence placed
in the hearts amongst the purest souls,
but all they did was start this fight of what the old book says is right
and try to catch their shadows instead of light.
So I walked out of that holy room and later found myself assume
that we're too small to really understand...
    And in my mind I try to find conclusions that God might be dead,
    but in the face of a passing child I find something mysteriously old...

       Time stands still in this little room of silence.
       May we blossom infront of each other
       and read each others face with expressions  of our first happiness.
       Sharpen your senses in this room without walls
       and dive into the ocean that feeds itself on tears
       We've got so much to learn...
