| Some Obstacle Upon the Path Of Career My albums, finally, has been recognized in Hong Kong. Before moving to Taiwan, my career expanded, having the name: "Who is the funny-man?". To me, the sucess and failer of this album is very important (Kathy: I think he is talking about his album "Dreamlover".) it decides on my whole life.. If the amount of money, of the album, that has been sold, is high, then that means I can "survive", if it becomes the opposite of that, I won't have a chance to stand in the field or vision of singing in Hong Kong any more. Before completing this album, we started to put part of the songs onto the radio. The result it turned out badly, although the broadcasting station had helped me out, they broadcast my songs several times, but the situation doesn't get any better. When I present the song directly on stage, there wasn't any feedback from the audience. The sixth sense announced to me that my album can't be sold. When I stand in the recording room, recording the last song for my album, I thought that this is the last time I will be working here. The place where they produce, agreed to give up, but I am not going to , because I really love that recording room and I don't want to leave it. To advertise my album, I opened a show. At that time, I had referred to Mr. Vuong Bach Co (Kathy: I do not know his Chinese name), the director of the manufacture of the company Warner, about a contract. But we will deal with it after the advertisement. Mr. Vuong Bach Co had told me: "You just need to answer me, who will buy your CD? Then we will sign the contract." It is hard to agree the truth that my career is "going down hill". While still being famous, I didn't had the time to think about other stuff. I didn't know why my career was going down hill, I did not give up passion, did not go out late at night, did not have any bad rumors...I did not do anything wrong, then why my career is going down hill? I really feel sad and angry... One year later, my first album was born and was distributed in Taiwan. To announce it to public, I had carry out every picture to advertise. The result had really caused unexpecting things for me. About two million disks was sold within a month. I had received an award and a lot of stars that I had dreamed of. "Top ten young idol in Taiwan." Two months later, my second album was born and was a successful one. It was not any wearker than the first album. |

| The Role Of Suen Ng Hung At first, I did not want to act in the movie "Journey To The West", because my career has just developed favourable in Taiwan. If I go back to Hong Kong, within half a year, then all competitors will compete and they would have a chance to exceed. Plus, the actors and actresses that are going to act in "Journey To The West", are not famous, besides me. But after careful thinking, I decided to accept the role "Monkey King". Although, therefore, I still feel self-confident. Because Suen Ng Hung is the main character in this movie, it seems like I m a pioneer that has a lot of pressure. All of the other actors and actresses feel worst than I do. I had told Zhu Ba Sie, Wayen Lai: "A good movie - would count on us to make it good. We need to put a lot of effort into doing this movie. How would the results turn out, I wouldn't know because I will be back in Taiwan. Unlike you guys, you have to stay here and know the results of the movie!" To look like Suen Ng Hung, the makeup people spread glue onto my face to stick furs onto my face. I work twenty hours a day, which is very difficult, especially when eating and drinking. Everyday, there are little hours for me to rest. Working like this for years now, all of the money that I received was only 90,000 Hong Kong dollars (Kathy: Dicky receives more money now!). I heard a lot of people said that I imitate Stephen Chi, that is...they don't know Cheung Wai Kin (Kathy: They don't know him just yet). At the beginning of the movie, I had acted like that, and that is my own style. If you ask me to act differently, I won't be able to do it. Everytime, my mom, would always want me to come and live with her, because in my mom's eyes..I'm still a youngster. My mom and I, together, opened the same bank account, I had thought that, I have twenty million Hong Kong dollars, but my mom never ask or uses that money. That person is Cheung Sai (Sin), an actress in Taiwan. He had taken Cheung Sai to Hong Kong to meet his mom and grandmother to let them know that Cheung Sai is a good person.
