Place frame , with trunion attached on AF-1.

Level frame, fore to aft.

Using blocks, level trunion fore to aft (See Drawing 104).

Clamp Rear shock mount (Drawing 113) lightly to seat supports (Drawing 104).

Adjust the distance from center of Trunion shock mount hole to center of Rear shock mount hole
to 9 inches by moving the rear shock mount up or down.

Clamp Rear shock mount firmly to seat supports.

QUALITY CHECK: Rear shock mount centered on seat supports.

                                    Rear shock mount square to seat supports.

                                    Hole center to hole center, 9 inches.

Weld Rear shock mount in position.

Remove blocks under trunion.

Mount Rear shock using 7/16 bolts and fiber lock nuts.

Center shock between mount fins with 7/16 washers on each side.

Tighten nuts only until free rotation of the bolt stops. Do not ever tighten and bend fins.
