| ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS, UPPER BEARING MOUNT (-36) CT-11 Mount is constructed of 3/16 by 1 � flat stock. Drill out Pillow Block mounting holes to 3/8. Remove oil cup from Pillow Block. (It doesn't work very well in a horizontal position) Procure two 3/8 by 1 � in. bolts. Grind off one side of bolt heads flush with shank. (see Drawing 109) Mount Pillow Block with a flat washer and Fiber Lock nut. Insure the flat portion of bolt heads face the ends of the mount. (see Drawing 109) NOTE: The modified bolt heads provide clearance for the frame mounting supports. This completes fabrication of the Upper Bearing Mount. |
