| The Main House The main house was built in 1994 following a fire which destroyed our home of many years. The result is a beautifully designed house comprising three bedrooms, two bathrooms, laundry, kitchen, living room and dining room. The main bedroom has

The Boathouse
ABOVE: The Boathouse The boathouse was built in 2000 and can be used as a completely separate residence. It has a separate key, and is equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, TV and phone. Shower and toilet facilities are also available. Accommodation at this property includes both the house and the boathouse. The water is at your door and you can swim, sail or fish or just relax. The boathouse is about 25 metres from the house. Adjacent to the boathouse is a well constructed jetty and pontoon from which you can launch a boat, dive into deep water or dangle a line. The climate is terrific! Sydney has sub tropical temperatures, ranging from 30+ degrees C in Summer to 8 degrees C in Winter. More information about climate can be found by clicking here Water temperatures in Spring Summer and Autumn are perfect for all water sports. The house has two new canoes, a laser sailing boat and a kids canoe for your use. Background to Paradise Found Scotland Island is approximately 25 k from the centre of Sydney. A regular bus service is available between Church Point and Mona Vale/ All the Northern Beaches/ Manly and Wynyard. Access is by water (no bridge) and is about 500 metres from the mainland. No road traffic is a great asset! Regular ferries and water taxis are available at minimal cost. Movie Theatres may be found at Warriewood, Avalon, Collaroy and Warringah. Pick up program guides in the free copy of the Manly Daily obtainable at Church Point. Parking is a
pain on public holidays and weekends. Apart from the cost
of council parking at Church Point or the resulting
fine if you overstay, you may find it easier to park in
Quarter Sessions Road, which is the road parallel to and
above Mc Carrs Creek Road at Church Point.
