To be honest with you, no one really knows for sure how many people are homeless. Figures and estimates rage from 100,000 to three million. Here in my small city, there are estimated to be 500 homeless families. That doesn't take into account individuals. So I'm assuming it is a pretty high sum of people. I don't believe the numbers matter, however. People are individuals, not statistics. We should be willing to help just one, even if that was all there was.
