David Patrick Owen

BORN: May 5th, 1968 in Denver CO.
Grade school: Garnet Green school for the physically disadvantaged - Omaha NE.
High School: Cimarron High School - Cimarron KS(Graduated may, 1987)
College: Garden City Comunity College - Garden City KS. (Recieved Associate's of Science Degree May, 1989)
Post-Graduate Work: Kansas College of Technology - Salina KS
Work: 7 years experince as a Office Assistant with Ogden Financial Servises, 3 years experince caring for floors for J.C. Penney's, and half a year's experience as a Missionary with New Hope in the Rockies Compassionate Ministries

I mostly I grew up in Western KS. Since I have Cerebral Palsy, The Special School I went to was supposed to help me but I don't think it helped much. After I recieved my degree from Garden City Comunity College, then I spent 2 unsuccessfull Years at Kansas College of Technology. I was academically dismissed for low grades, but I worked very hard at that School. My Proffesor (Les Kinsler) help write the landing program for the NASA Shuttle 'Atlantis'. I was way out of my league at that school

I spent about a year working for my father (Darrell) in his insurance office. Then My Younger brother Andy, who at that time pastored our church, sent me to New Hope in the Rockies, a Homeless mission in Colorado Springs (read my letter page), I drew from a account from New hope from the Cimarron Nazarene Church. I came home six months later to work for my father some more. one year later I worked as janitor for J.C. Penneys for 3 years.

Right now I guess I'm in limbo - trying to decide what to do. My work record isn't the greatest but I am a hard working, honest, devoted employee. Keep me in your prayers because my family has reservations about me going, however, I would realy like to go teach computers in inernationally if I could.
