6/24/06 Bank St Café: Unknown band, Delta Whiskey, Cosmos Sunshine Band
It was another slow night at the Café, but the beer was cold and so were the ladies. Just kidding.
The opener was a mixed member band fronted by Ken Nash of Flic. The set was all acoustic and pretty tight. The vocals kind of had a ghostly tone to them. I can’t really give you more info on their background. Its unknown if this group was a one-time deal, or if they’ll be around again.
Delta Whiskey came on next. Dave, Matt, Neil and Scott all come from different musical backgrounds and come together to form a mainstream rock sound. Every member is talented and they write original music. This was my second time watching Delta Whiskey. I like some songs more than others but they’re a good band to watch. What Delta Whiskey brings to the table is another original band rocking out in New London.
I had to leave before Cosmos Sunshine Band played. But the word on the street is that these guys rock. Catch them next time, I know I will. Shaun
