Basic Pale Ale
Type of beer: Extract
Ingreadients:
9 Lbs. Pale malt extract
.5- 1.0 ounces Northern Brewer Hop (pellets)
.5 ounces Cascade hops (finishing)
1 pkg wyeast "British ale yeast" 1098

Directions:
Into a boiling pot add 2 1/2 gallons of distilled water. Let the water reach a full boil to add the 9 lbs pale malt extract and let the pot come back to a full boil. When the water reached a full boil again add the .5 - 1.0 oz of Northern brewer's hops and let them boil one hour. About 10 minutes before the end of the boil add the .5 oz of cascade hops and leave in till the end of the boil. After the boil remove the hops and placed in cooling bath for about 40 minutes. When the wort is cool add it, to the fermenter with another 2.5 gallons of water. Let sit about 20 minutes then pitch the yeast. Cover and add a water lock.
