Brodie came to the bay after being abused by her jealous mother, she went to stay at the drop in centre and met Shelley Sutherland.Shelly let her stay at her house and thats where she still is and is like part of the family.
Alex ran over Brodie while she was on her bike and this caused her brain damage but it only lasted for a few episodes.
Brodie's loving boyfriend Miles died in a car crash which Alex was driving.She didn't forgive Alex for a long time but their mates again now.

Brodie dated Mitch when she first arrived at the bay after splitting up him and Hayley. She then dated Alex Poulos and when she broke up with him fell in love with Miles his best friend.
She is now getting over Miles' death a little bit although she'll never get over him.After June telling her that Miles wouldn't have wanted her to stop living her life, and that she should do the things he wanted them to do together , Brodie has finally started to get over him. She is now dating Vinnies cousin Mav who came to the Bay in search of his destiny and apparantly it lies with Brodie.
