| The Sporting Seven began when I had to create a new universe specifically because of the health problem that I wanted to write for Ezra. The boys became partners in a business venture on Chris's ranch, running sporting vacations. They offer canoeing, skiing, shooting, trail riding and other extreme sports. While they were setting the business up, Ezra suffered heart problems, which resulted in him having a pacemaker fitted. That is the basis of the first story, which features all the boys: New Ventures. The second story deals with Ezra when he falls from Chris's stallion: Bad Karma Sacrifice. In the third story, Vin and Chris go climbing, but have an accident. Is one of them dead? The next story is called Well, I didn't expect that when I woke up this morning. Ezra takes some clients out but ends up in rather a precarious predicament. Can Vin get to him in time? Ezra suffers an accident while skiing alone. What injuries has he sustained and will he be found? Pride before a fall Ezra encounters problems after his skiing accident. Why does he not seem to be getting better? A hospital visit finds out the answer. Complications A torrential downpour up in the mountains causes Vin trouble after a canoeing lesson. Is he really unhurt? Deluge |
