| Fabian's Guide to: BOASTING | ||||||||||||||||||
| Some fools will tell you that it is any idle brained egghead that can boast. They are partly correct but to the trained eye, Boasting is as skilled an art as haberdashery and after reading this guide you to will be able to boast with the best of them. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Dress to impress: Unfortunately to boast sucessfully you'll need to improve on your usual jeans and T-shirt combo. In general, the true boaster only wears a fine 3 piece suit complete with tails, a detail some so-called boasters fail to notice. Dont forget to accessorise as well. A good boast isn't complete unless you wear a top hat, a monocle, carry a pocket watch and cane. A cape is always necessary for those out of doors boast. Of course, sometimes for specific boasts different clothes work best e.g. boasts about a hunting trip should be acompanied by pith helmet and khakis with optional blunderbuss accesory. |

| Improve that tone: That sloppy drawl may work in the local youth centre, but in order to boast in high society only a posh english accent will do. |
||||||||||||||||||
| Improve that posture: Boasts simply don't work if you sloach over and speak into your chest!!! Make sure that you jut forward your chest with shoulders back and never forget to jut forth your chin. Your boasts will become precisely 6 times more believable. |

| Phrasing is everything: Just the way you phrase your boast can increase the grandeur of your feats. Try these little tips: 1. Include a geographical area e.g. "I have a very large collection of elephant hides" v.s. "I have the largest collection of elephant hides in southern Rhodesia" 2.Prefix your boast with the phrase "I declare that,.." 3. Use adjectives to describe your feat consisting of more than 3 syllables e.g. "Unsurpassable", "Magnificent" |

| The name game: A title never hurt anyone, especially not a boaster. If you dont have a title just make one up for yourself, or just use one of these handy examples: 1. The Duke of Moldavia 2.The Earl of Haversham 3. Lord protector of Fabreesia 4. Emperor of Sylvania See how easy it is? |

| So everyone next time I see you I want to be blown away by your pompous and irritating Boasts. | ||||||||||||||||||
