This week: |
THE BRADLEY APPARATUS |

SCHEMATIC |

Inventor: Conor Bradley |
Purpose: The killing of magpies |
Principle: The shiny surface attracts Magpies, who attempt to peck the bulbous top of the apparatus, which contains sodium or some other appropriately reactive metal. The sodium then reacts to produce a large volume of Hydrogen gas in the stomach of the bird, causing it to explode. |

Professor Cornucopia's opinion: Ingenius!!! This truly is a life changing invention. No longe will I be plauged by magpies stealing my glasses, car keys, children e.t.c,e.t.c. |
