| November 25, 2001 Chris McEntee Address, etc... Relationship: One of my few intellectual equals To whom it may concern: Lucas Heffer is a fine young man. He has many admirable qualities and would make an excellent addition to your illustrious organization. Very few carry-on the way this young lad does. His character is immaculate. It is hard to believe that one who considers himself to be an empiricist of theology can posses such good will for his fellow man. Although he absconds from the Christian virtues that I hold dear to my heart, he maintains his principles. For instance, if I were to ask him what he thought about any given topic, his response would be candid. It would not be softened for the sake of appeasement. Aside from his honest nature, Mr. Heffer has a great deal of confidence. He is certainly not your average, docile pupil. He is never afraid to ask a question, whether he feels it is trivial or not. He is also found at the center of many heated class discussions. His effulgent young mind has the capacity to see things from a different perspective. Once again, he is not your average, myopic high-school student. By definition, Lucas fails miserably to attain the status "follower." Hence, he is a leader by the laws governing deduction. He has no place among the sheep, for that would entail mediocrity. As far as the service aspect of his requirement, well - here is a juggernaut among mortals! Lucas Heffer has taken an active part in the state of the government. He sees it as unfit and instead of whining about it like some 4 year old, he seeks results. Last year, he stormed the class elections with a bid for the vice presidency. Sadly, politics were no match for his idealism. Did this thwart his aspirations? Hardly. As of September 2001, Lucas sought a candidacy for the Mayor of Rochester. I kid you not. Had it not been for age limitations, we would have seen the Heffer appellation on the ballot. It brings a tear to my eye to know that one individual could care so much. I urge you to strongly consider this young man for your society. He is fit in every way required. It would be a terrible shame to suppress his genius any longer. Sincerely, |
| This is the letter Chris wrote for me. I can honestly say that he didnt exaggerate one bit. I am that much better of a human being than you are. Unless you are a hot chick or Gino Stolfa. |
