| The Dark Water War happened some time ago, and was one of the few big wars in Fallacious Waterfalls and Ioreta, if not the only one. The Elves in the Holt Uveri, which is actually far, far away from Ioreta, had come from their home to find themselves in the area of Ioreta. They had escaped from the humans, and were now looking for a new place to live. When they found Ioreta, they found it really fascinating. It was far different from their old Holt, Uveri, which had been far up in the mountains someplace with little forest and much snow. This tribe (made up of different kind of races, but lets just call them the Uveris, to make it easier) were not very friendly. In fact they wanted Ioreta all for themselves. They wanted to chase all the Elves and other creatures, which the Uveris thought would bother them, out from Ioreta. Some of the Uveris had the Dark Healing power (it is unknown how many), which caused great trouble. They also had some unknown magical skills that the Elves in TAiren never had seen before. Some of these skills, combined with Dark Healing, made some of the Uveris able to somewhat control the Noens against their will. As the Noens have very strong Watershaping powers, and there is plenty of water in and around TAiren, this was a huge advantage to them. This was one reason why they attacked TAiren in the first place. With the power of the Noens to help them, they manage to control the water and in that way cause the death, mostly by drowning, to many of the elves and creatures in TAiren. But this was not the only thing they could do. With their Dark Healing ability (the ones who had it at least), they managed to hurt many, and also to kill. There was especially one Elf who had very strong Dark Healing and caused a great deal of trouble all by herself; Centin. She was the leader and chieftess of the Uveris. She was also the one who killed Victrin, a well-loved Healer, while he was trying to heal some of the wounded ones of TAiren. The Elves in TAiren, when first attacked, were taken by surprise. However, they quickly stood up to defend themselves before the Uveris got too far into their land and homes. Though the Uveris were very strong and had advantages with their magical skills, they were poor fighters in other ways, like with swords and other weapons. They were also fewer than TAiren, and this made their advantages a little weaker. Of course the Uveris were a much larger tribe than those who fought, but the children and many of the women were not fighting, but rather stayed some distant away, waiting for the battle to end. Though the struggle was very long and hard, and the losses many, TAiren finally managed to drive the Uveris back. The Uveris, like TAiren, had suffered great losses, and were too weak now to still stand and fight. The Uveris who had fought and survived now fled for their lives, taking everyone else from their tribe with them. TAiren, though happy to have finally won the war, mourned over the many deaths of their people. The Noens, the ones who were not killed, were now free from the Uveris and fled, and it took a long time before they trusted the Elves again, and some never trusted them ever again. TAiren still mourns over many of their dead loved ones who died in this war. It had been something beyond imagination, and will hopefully not happen again as long as TAiren exist, and the Elves still fill the world. |
