Fryda is learning a lot about Starfleet through her observations of the away
team.

Lt. Einicrox, Lt. 'n Galead, Lt<jg> O'Brady, Fryda and the rest of the team
perform for the entire Medici court at breakfast the next morning. In
attendance are Piero di Lorenzo de' Medici, leader of Florence; Giovanni di
Lorenzo de' Medici, future pope Leo X and currently a 16-years-old cardinal;
Leonardo da Vinci; the away team's target, LtCmdr. Cipio; and a number of
other nobles and dignitaries. Cipio is beamed to the Horizon by use of
comissioner Delphi's device, and replaced by a hologram without anyone in
the audience noticing.

Lt. Mao'Syllis worked out her frustrations in the gym jumping rope.
She then ran into Hanson as they both headed for the bridge. He and
Canon discover a `sticky note' reading "kick me" attached to the FO
by the FCO. Hanson went into the ready room to discuss the new
mission with the CO.

A few days before, Mrell had successfully interrogated Snake and
followed that up with finding a small vial of DNA fragments on Loten
II. He also found his old enemy Gul Talorr on the planet. Mrell
outsmarted him and Talorr met his demise.
