Synopsis and my thoughts -

I remember seeing every vampire movie way back� loved the genre. Christopher Lee made the best Dracula. However, the reason I bought this video was not for the genre but the actor.
Robert Patrick (RP) must have been batty accepting a role in this cr** movie. This didn�t stop me having a really good laugh at the ridiculous dialogue and the improbable story line. * Counts fingers * � I�ve watched it 5 times so far.
RP plays Buck, one of a group of bank robbers who plans to steal a million bucks from a Mexican bank. Unfortunately they cross paths with a vampire bat and one by one these misfits develop a thirst for blood as well as money.
On the cover it reads, �This year�s most thrilling sequel� and ��action-packed, kill-or-be-killed battle to stop these evil creatures and save their own lives.� What an over-statement!
FDTD 2 is the sort of movie you�ll see more idiotic sequences on each viewing. Below are some of the memorable lines and scenes that got my blood running.

RP�s Involvement

RP plays a big part in this movie so it�s a must for all his fans. You�ll have a chuckle � the first time we see him he�s on the couch with his floozy all over him. All he wants to do is to watch the vampire movie on cable. If I was his floozy I�d know how to get his attention LOL. He�s in a singlet and boxers � he stands up to pull up his pants�.. * is panting just thinking of it *.
The rest of the movie he�s in jeans and open shirt and jacket with the buttons undone, showing his singlet. Wish he could have just taken it off once. *s* He looks so cool in the stolen sunnies too. Just realised how much I�ve talked about his clothes. *slaps hand*
He plays such a cool bank robber. He shows his ability to round up this bunch of no-hopers and bring them back to earth when they go a little wayward. RP�s great at playing the �I�m not afraid of anything� role.
RP�s ranges of expressions in this movie are so cute. Love the look on his face when he slowly realizes that his mates are not whom or what they first seemed.

* The cardboard cut-out vampire teeth
* It�s amazing how many ways you can make a cross!
* The camera angles. Love the one where Buck (RP) is on the phone to the Sheriff and we see him through the length of the curly-cord.

Most of them are R rated � so here�s a few of the more savory ones.

End thoughts
I read back over my notes and I�ve probably been a bit harsh with my slating of the story. There are many out there who will just love the absurdity of it. Our man probably convulses into coffin fits when he remembers his involvement in this movie. A very forgettable story line but good for a chuckle and bit of light relief.
Still a must for avid RP fans.
