    I CERTIFY, that the within named  Hiram R. Holmes,  a private  of Captain  Aaron K. Richardson Company  H of the 35th Regiment of  Georgia Volunteers, born in Hall Co.,  in the State of Georgia,  aged  26 years,  5 feet,  8 inches high,  Sallow complexion,  Dark eyes,
Black hair, and by occupation a Farmer was enlisted by Lieut J. M. Roberts at Roberts X Roads, Hall Co, on the 14th day of February 1862, to serve for the war years, and is now entitled to discharge by reason of Ordinary Disability.
     The said Hiram R. Holmes was last paid by Capt. L. P. Thomas to include the 28th day of February 1862, and has pay due from that date to the present date.
     There is due to him four  50/100 Dollars travelling allowance from Stone Mountain, to Roberts X Roads, the place of enrollment, transportation not being furnished in kind.  for 45 miles.
     There is due him  Thirty nine & eighty six cents.   3 mo. & 19
     He is indebted to the Confederate States  Seven  75/100 Dollars on account of Clothing Drawn.
     Given in duplicate at Camp near Richmond, this 19 day of June, 1862.
