Movie Review

Some sequels are made for box-office, some are made for being good movies, but somehow the new H20 sequel: Halloween: Resurrection is neither except for being a plain bad movie. Whether it is the plot, thriller, action, drama, the movie was just plain crap. The only highlights of the film would probably be the attractive cast and the cool villain from H20, but even so, that can not save a movie that should never even been made.

The story is about, wait a minute, does it even have a story? Okay, it's about a group of young adults being filmed and telecast over the internet (in the tradition of Big Brother) in the house of where the H20 mass murderer, Michael committed his crime. The so-called Internet stars (Busta Rhymes, Tyra Banks, Bianca Kajlich, Daisy McCrackin, Katee Sackhoff, Sean Thomas and Luke Kirby) are then chased by Michael as one by one of the stars die, well so-what? - when the movie is not at all thrilling! Well you get the idea, the movie is basically a person escaping from a murderer, how boring!

As I say before one of the few highlights is the at times attractive stars, but still although attractive, they performed a relatively stiff acting performance, - but rather well when given such stupid storyline/script. With a cast of almost unknowns except for the kid from 10 things I hate about you and a lame script, I quess the movie should never even been considered worth seeing. I must say it did have a few scary moments like the rats coming out and the red haired sexy girl being trapped to the deadend and also the last few seconds, but for a thriller, that's not even thrilling enough to be an average horror.
Halloween:
Resurrection is such a silly and plotless thriller that is not even scary,
wasting a potential cast and a total waste of time, the credits must be givento
the shoulders of the director
-
Rick Rosenthal and producers to create such a
lame and plain stupid thriller. If you looking for a spooky night, well, this
movie is more like your
Halloween: Resurrection!
