Belly: Written, directed, co-produced, edited by Hype Williams. Hype's also writing the film's score, picking the tracks that will appear on the soundtrack, and directing the music videos from the album. Cinematographer for the film is Malik Hassan Sayeed, who has worked with Hype Williams on his videos in the past. Began filming early 1998, and expected to be released on November 4,1998. Sources say the budget for the film is around $6million. According to MTV News, filming of the film halted in April with just four days of script left to go. DMX did not blame Hype for the delay, but rather the people financiallybacking the film. Filming continued in mid-July, and the movie is expected to be finished by November 4, 1998.



Soundtrack: includes Dmx, Nas and Method Man who gets together for a track that is already out on mix tapes. It is said that the album will be produced under Dmx Record Company Def Jam. Plot is that the film is an updated version of Scarface. It's is about two childhood friends from Queens, New York named Tommy (Played by Dmx) and Sincere (Played By Nas), have two different views of criminal life. Tommy leads a fastlane lifestyle, while Sincere is a friend who aspires to be a law-abiding family man. Taral Hicks plays Tommy's girfriend while T-B-z plays Sincere's wife.
