Titanic

A film by James Cameron (USA, 1997),

with Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet, Billy Zane, Kathy Bates and Bill Paxton.

Here's the biggest shipwreck ever immortalized by James Cameron (Terminator) in a 3 hours-and-10 minute-movie that has cost $XXX (censored)! Ok, as always in that kind of movie, you do have from time to time soppy dialogs, excessive features here and there (unrealistic situations, artificial suspense, obnoxious villains) and of course US taste for gigantism. But, let's admit it, you don't get bored a single minute: the pacing is just perfect, the set is extraordinary and the cast is extremely convincing: as a couple, Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio are definitely likeable, and Billy Zane manages to embody an execrable first class fool. In a word: Titanic is undoubtedly entertaining.
