Reilingen

My second school exchange was to Schwetzingen/Reilingen in the South of Germany, with the Carl-theodor-schule. My exchange student was Laura. She is now 17 years old and is the best exchange student eva. I had sooooo much fun with her. They came to England on 27th March 03 and left on 7th April 03. We then returned on 27th June 03 till 7th July 03.

My first exchange to Germany was in the third year, (two years ago). We went to Essen in Germany and my partner was Aline. She lived with her mum, stepdad, brother (Ren�) and step-brother (Oliver), along with two dogs and a cat (evil things!). At weekends, she visits her dad (J�rgen) and step-mum (Bianca). In England she was very quiet, but at home you couldnt get a word in edgeways! She was soo nice and i thank her making my stay enjoyable. Teal, Jenny Williams, Simon, Sian, Rohin, Barney, Steven and Peter all went on the trip.

Here was our timetable!:

Thursday: Arrived in Germany

Friday: Went into the German school - did an Art project - Shopping

Saturday: Went to Aline's dad's flat - Then Aline's grandparents - went to a 3D Cinema - Watched Eurovision Song contest

Sunday: Played darts - Went to 'Lucky Strike Diner' for lunch - went to park - had sand fight

Monday: Went to a museum, but closed!! - went shopping - got lost wid Nicky :@ - cleaned coach - went to top of mountain - played football.

Tuesday: Went to Warner Brother's (Movie World)

Wednsday: Sensory expedition - went shopping AGAIN! - went park - BBQ at school - given presents - played football.

Thursday: Came home

I came to Schwetzingen in July this year with Siobhan so that we could work in a kindergarten and improve our German. The children where lovely and i thank Vanessa for taking me in and let me stay at hers.
