Ruby came home to the Rodeo spread at 10 weeks of age. She grew up with Dagen as her gigantic chew toy and was showed by Holly in numerous AKC shows.
In June 2003, Ruby won Reserve Winners Bitch in a strong field of 11 bitches (5-point major) at the GSMDCA NW Specialty under respected judge Chuck Trotter. PHOTO
During her career she also won two other nice reserves, including one other reserve to a major. She ended her career pointed towards her AKC championship.
Ruby developed entropian, an eye condition present in approximately 2% of Swissies. We elected to spay Ruby and she lives very happily with Christine Donahue at the Lane's Turn End "resort".
We love her for always!! Can't wait to see her return to the ring someday in the Veteran's class. |
