There is currently no new Strokes related news. The band are resting before going into the studio to record the follow up to the brilliant debut album 'Is This It?'. It will be worth the wait and is expected to be started on soon don't be worrying about not hearing anything from the band for a while because waiting for this will seem like it has gone by so quickly!!!
Tuesday 1st April
The Strokes have recently gone in to the studio to record the next album! Tracks like 'Meet Me In The Bathroom', 'The Way It Is' and 'You Talk Way Too Much',- that the band performed at recent gigs in the us and festival dates in the uk - are expected to be on the record. It is scheduled for release afert summer some time.
Tuesday 5th August
The Strokes have finished recording the follow up to 'Is This It?' and a release date has been scheduled. A mellower uptake of The Strokes sound, the new LP will be released October 20th in the UK. The band say it has a lot of Michael Jackson 'Billie Jean' influences on it. This album is to be sure-fire hit and will most definately be in the Top 10 at least, the week of it's release.
Tuesday 7th October
The Strokes have been named MSN's Artist of the Month. For more information go here. A full North American tour has been announced, with support act Kings Of Leon. Check tour page for details

Strokes' new single was released yesterday. 12:51 is available on red 7" and cd single format.
Sunday 19th October
The Strokes are now on their US tour. Since October 9th the band have been partying on the road, and getting back to the touring lifestyle.
Room On Fire is out tomorrow, a very exciting time it is indeed :D
