There are 3 types of Electrical Circuits, series, parallel, and combination. Series Circuits are formed when there is only one path for the current to flow. If one bulb of a Series Circuit is unscrewed or blows out, all of the bulbs do not work. A Parallel Circuit is formed when two or more Series Circuits are connected to the same energy source. A Combination Circuit is formed when a Parallel Circuit and a Series Circuit are combined using the same energy source. To calculate the current of a given circuit, divide voltage over resistance. This law is called Ohm's Law. |
