Hi Everyone! I feel like it has been a long time since I've updated my website. I've been busy lately "ebaying" some stuff. It took me a while to figure it out but I had fun in the process and got more money than I would ever get at a garage sale. Is it worth it? I think so. But it does take a lot more time and energy than I thought it would have. I have been to the post office 3 times this week and need to go once more next week. Next time I do this I'll try to get everything listed at the same time so hopefully I can do the shipping at one time. One downside to spending so much time on Ebay is that while doing my "research" I am also seeing stuff to bid on and buy. I ended up spending way to much on a used coat for Heather this year because I got in a bidding war. But doggonit! I needed that coat! Heather WILL be extra cute and extra warm this year! LOLOL
Well, we've had some frustrating times in the past month but also some good times. Hannah and Heather are playing together quite well these days, as well as fighting with each other and over toys! It is always a back and forth battle. Heather is starting to say a few more words now (dizzy, bob, oh no, now, I do, night-night, nap-nap, uh-huh) which helps, of course she says No a lot to everything.. She understands everything we say so that helps a lot. She's a stubborn little girl. Watch out if she drops her toy in the minivan while we are on the highway! She'll scream the whole time until she finally gets it back! Hannah usually chimes in to help her sister out. It makes for some interesting trips in the car. They both like to get into screaming matches. I am sure Dave has a hard time working some days. They love to scream together and make loud noises. Hannah has been battling with monsters and dinosaurs in her bedroom lately. The other morning we had the funniest conversation which I have to write down here.
Hannah: "I couldn't sleep very well last night" me: "why not?" Hannah: "there were monsters in my room keeping me up" me: "oh Hannah, next time come and tell me and I'll help you with them" Hannah: "I couldn't" me: "why not?" Hannah: "I was busy" me: "what were you busy doing?" Hannah: "I was busy sleeping"
I just though this was so funny and cute! She isn't scared of these monsters really. They all seem to be nice monsters who are busy playing in her room and making too much noise. We sprayed her room with a homemade conncoction (water and lemon juice) to make her room smell nice because "dinosaurs and monsters don't like good smells" It really helped her get to sleep.
Oh yes and I should really mention the best news of all. HANNAH IS 100% POTTY TRAINED!! Whoo hoo!! She is doing so well with it. She goes when she needs to, and has done a great job at night. She has had a few accidents since she started wearing underwear at night but she is really trying hard. Yesterday morning she woke up all wet and got herself changed into new undies/pajama's all by herself!! I am so proud of her. She didn't cry or anything. She also had a teeny tiny accident (didn't wet her pants) today and she went and changed her underwear all by herself. She is so independent all of a sudden!
