Heather is now 18 months!!  She is soooo big!  I am remembering all the times we had with Hannah when she was Heather's age lately.  I was very pregnant with Heather then and we had just moved into this house.  I think because now we are in the same house as Hannah was at 18 months and now Heather, I can really see what Hannah did and what Heather is doing and compare.  For example Heather is not walking off the step into the living room but I know Hannah did that at this time.  Heather is still not a huge talker but she is saying more each day.  Today she said "apple" quite clearly. She also said tired - "ired", "eat", and says "baby", "ice", "apple", and "happy" quite a bit.  We've  been happy with her improving vocabulary.  She seems to be able to communicate with us better in the last month too.  She loves to read books and brings them to us to read.  She even sat through me reading the digging-est dog the other day while reading to them.  Heather is a little dancing, singing, gymnast (likes to stand on her head), and artist.   Heather had her 18 month appt today.  She is long and lean - just like daddy. LOL She is 21 pounds (15%) and 33 1/2 inches long.  Her feet are soo big!  I just bought her a size 6 tennis shoe.  She measures a 5 but has wide feet like her mommy.   She did not like the Dr's visit today at all.  She screamed while the nurse measured her height and then she refused to sit on the scale.  So I doubt the measurements are very accurate but she is very tall next to toddlers her age.

Hannah was 27 pounds and 36 inches tall at her 3 yr checkup.  She is still quite petite.   She wore a size 18-25 month leggings today and I couldn't believe how well they fit her!!  They were the gymboree leggings of course which do run big.   She mostly wears 3T now.  The main thing is that she is so skinny that I have to take in all of her pants.  She is growing and healthy and that is all that matters!  Hannah loves to ride her tricycle.  She has pretty much mastered it.   We had to get her some elbow and knee pads after it tipped over and she skinned her elbow on the 4th of July.  She likes to wear them.  We went out and got Heather a trike too!!  We were laughing at how much earlier Heather will be getting things that Hannah will have to wait for.  I'm sure we'll hear a complaint about it one day when she is older.   Heather can't really ride the tricycle but she can reach the pedals and tries hard.  It won't take long for her to figure it out.   We got Heather a little helmet just like Hannah's to wear.  They are sooo cute on them!    Hannah is doing so well on the potty now.  I still remind her to go, but if I forget she will go in and go when she needs too.  Usually she'll wait until the last second and have an accident on the floor next to the potty.  I am happy with her progress.  She does a great job while we are out in public or visiting with freinds.  We are phasing out the diaper at naps now too and so far she has done a good job, with a few accidents.  She had dry diapers after naptime almost everyday before I decided not to put them on her.  She is wearing diapers at night.
All of us at Bellevue Botanical Garden.

Hannah and Simran going down the slide together.  This is one of my all time favorite pictures.  They have the happiest looks on their faces.  Pure joy!
with Grandpa Steve & Grandma Mary.  We had a fun walk at the garden that day.
Heather splashing in the water between the bricks.
I love this picture because it shows all her teeth.  She has the 4 top front  and the two on bottom front and 4 molars back there.  She is starting to get the other two bottom front, just under the gums.  She is such a slow teether that it could be a while yet before we actually see those pop through..
