Hannah is 20 months now! She is so very talkative now. Its unbelievable how much she says. She is learning her numbers (well she is stuck on one and two -but I think thats really great for her!) and she is learning her ABC's. She know ABC & D plus knows where I, P, and Z go in the song. Hannah already knows several colors including Yellow (her favorite), Red, Blue, Green, Black, White, and Pink. She loves to help sing the ABC song, very slowly, to her new baby sister. She is starting to say two and three word sentences. She also says more complicated words like "hot chocolate" pronouncing chocolate very clearly! I think she is very smart, of course! She also can finally pronounce Igor very clearly. For the longest time she called him "Doi Doi", which was very cute, but now has pretty much gotten all her consonants and vowels right like the G she had trouble with! Hannah is adjusting to her new baby sister very well, with a few tantrums. She has to see her first thing and loves to kiss her a lot. She also tries to give her toys to Heather and feed her from her fork or spoon.
Heather is now 3 weeks old! She is growing so fast! I am pretty sure that she is bigger than Hannah was at that age already. She seems to be growing out of her smaller 0-3 month outfits and little onsies already where Hannah wore them until she was 3 months. But it is hard to remember. Heather is such the grunter! She grunts all night! Very noisy! (especially now that she is suffering from her 1st cold) She doesn't cry much at all but does let us know when she is upset like when riding in the carseat or if she is cold. She likes to be held differently than Hannah did too. I can really tell that she is very different from Hannah already. I can't wait to see her little personality bloom. Right now she is mostly a sleepy little thing but each day she is awake more and becoming more aware of things around her. She likes to watch the shadows the mobile makes in her crib. |
