Hi! We are the doggies that live with Holli and Dave and we are the cutest dogs on the block! Igor is almost 4 years (yikes!) old and Babushka is 3 1/2 years old.
Babushka (purple collar) is trying to be the dominant one of the group even though she is a bit smaller. She chases igor around the house and sometimes drives him crazy. She loves to squeak toys and run around with her stuffed bones. She is a very hyper dog for a pug, and has lots of energy to run around and play non-stop if she could!!
Igor's (green collar) favorite thing to do is chew his bone, play with his ball, suckle on "froggy" when he's sad or mad (his surrogate mommy when he was a puppy), and sleep with you on the couch while watching TV. Whenever anyone is on the couch - he will be there guaranteed!!
Well the doggies have really settled in with their new "sister" Hannah and enjoy being around her! Babushka and Igor are doing great. Igor has some problems with skin/wrinkle infections like he usually does in winter but my mom is taking care of me. Babushka is perfectly healthy. They really miss that I am not home with them like I was in the summertime. Plus we are not taking our usual walks this winter. It is to dark to walk after work everyday. But it is staying daylight longer these days so I am sure we will be picking it up again soon. Hannah says "babu" really well when she sees the dogs and is really enjoying them. She is even learning which toys are the dog toys (and can't go in her mouth) and which are hers. Igor knows which ones are Hannah's but he doesn't care! |
