Hollandtown Town Board Meeting Minutes
The Town Board of Holland met Monday January 2, for their monthly
meeting. Chairman Jerry Wall called the meeting to order at 8 PM;
Chairman Wall, Supervisor Brick, Supervisor Geiger and Treasurer
Kennedy were present. Clerk Clancy was unable to attend.
The minutes of the December meeting were read. Motion to approve the
minutes was made by Supervisor Brick, seconded by Supervisor
Geiger--motion passed.
The bills were presented by Chairman Wall and Treasurer Gloria Kennedy.
A motion was made to pay them by Supervisor Brick. Seconded by
Supervisor Geiger.
The board addressed future maintenance of the Askeaton Ball Park.
Suggestions of reimbursing
the town for cutting the grass, if the town should be responsible
for the mower and who should
use the mower were discussed. More information and possibilities will
be discussed at future meetings.
The discussion of a joint Municipal Court was also continued;
Wrightstown will not participate, but several other towns are
interested in joining. Discussions also included the formation of
an
Appeals Board and the use of a local Constable. The town will continue
with necessary proceedings. More news is expected next
month.
Motion to adjourn was made by Supervisor Geiger, seconded by Supervisor
Brick. Motion was passed.
