Hollandtown Town Board Meeting Minutes
The
chairman called the January meeting to order, all members were
present. Minutes of the November meeting were read. Motion to approve
was made by Supervisor Geiger, 2nd by Supervisor Brick, motion passed
3-0.
The chairman stated the Barking Dog ordinance as it now stands can't be
enforced by the county due to techicalities, and hopefully be resolved
for the next meeting.
All bills were presented, a motion to pay them was made by Supervisor
Geiger 2nd by Supervisor Brick, motion passed, 3-0.
Chairman Wall stated that the holding pond in Brookside Second
Edition brought a question from a resident wondering if the children in
the area could wander onto the ice and an accident would happen and
would the town be responsible. Chairman Wall stated it was the
developer who would be liable, but he would request a letter of
confirmation from Attorney Sickle. In another matter, the topic of
changing Fire District lines was brought up. Being no interested
parties were there, no action was taken. Motion to adjorn was made by
Chairman Wall, and seconded by Supv. Brick. Motion passed 3-0.
