Dear Palm User,

Many thanks for downloading my XConverter application.

First of all: My apologies if this is not what you expected. I do know that there are much better unit converters out there with a much smaller memory footprint. It is not at all my intention to compete with them.

In fact, this is the result of my very first efforts in Palm programming (thanks to Aldweb for his brilliant iziBasic). I am using this little application to find my way round all those resources and compiling directives that you need to know about.

Having said that, it has at least one useful function. As a German living in the UK, I am sometimes struggling with imperial measurements. While it is fairly easy to remember that an inch is about 2.5cm and a mile 1.6km, what if I told you there was a car that uses 3 litres fuel per 100km. Would you be surprised? Well, now you can check out what this means.

There are a couple of other tricky conversions. For instance, if you told me you were five foot two and weighed 14 stones, I'd have no idea what you look like. I may add those calculations in a later release.

For now, please enjoy this application and if you want to contact me with suggestions or criticism, here is my e-mail address:
