First make it so that little to no taxes are taken out from your check. Then take the money that you would pay in taxes and give it to organizations that are working for the public's best interest. Make sure you get reciepts for everything you donate. Make sure that the amount you donate is relatively equall to the amount you would have paid in taxes (you can do this by projecting your potential income for the coming year, and then complete a tax form, thus giving you the amount that you would have paid)
Now take those reciepts and send them to the IRS accompanied by a letter explaining what the reciepts are and why you are sending them, and why you refuse to pay your taxes.
This is different from giving to charaties and then getting a tax write off, becuase you are not getting a refund from the government. You are out right refusing to pay taxes, and are making a statement that you will not pay for the war and agencies that are taking your civil liberties and won't give you any information about what they are diong. You are making a statement that you are going to be the one who controls what your money is spent on.
