Clyde Wallace Holdridge

Clyde the son of James Harvey Holdridge, and Helen Wallace. Clyde and Bessie were married in Brooklyn, where he was working as a forman. Their first child Bernice was Born there in 1907. Clyde and family later moved back to Catskill, New York. Their second child, Kenneth Willis Holdridge was born in Catskill in 1916. Clyde worked as an electrician at a cement plant in Cementon, NY. Clyde held a Master Electrician's License, and later did residential electrical work in Catskill. Clyde enjoyed woodworking, and constructed a variety of chests, and furniture, including a desk that he built for his son Kenneth. Bessie was a homemaker, and sold Avon products. I have been told that she did quite well with her sales, and had won automobiles on two occasions (Ref telcon with Audrey Holdridge Rogers Toolan (Grandaughter). Kenneth A. Holdridge (Grandson)
