Extra Credit (November) - Sphinx/Oedipus

Hello everyone! I bet you were all wondering when you would get some extra credit! Well, today's your lucky day! You have the choice between two options. You can only do one. One requires some research, while the other requires some creativity. You decide which one you want to choose.

Whichever option you choose, you must send it to: [email protected] with the subject "DADA II November Extra Credit." You MUST include your Student ID somewhere in the e-mail.

Option A: I touched briefly on the myth of Oedipus, but didn't go into great detail on it. Your task is to search the internet (or books) for the myth of Oedipus and write me a summary of it. Include all important characters, events, etc. Worth 30 points.

Option B: I also mentioned in the lesson about the sphinx's ability to make up impossible riddles. Your task is to come up with 5 hard, but not impossible riddles and send them to me. Make sure to include the answers as well. You can make up your own, or search the internet for riddles. The best riddles will make it to a future extra credit for your classmates to figure out. Worth 30 points.
