its good to have a hero
someone you can look up to
someone who helps you to know
that life is not just sadness
and there is hope
something you can relate to
someone you see as beautiful

well Zoe is beautiful
she may not see it
but something in me respects her
for being brave and taking all these risks
that i never took
and i think shes pretty too
another quality i wish i posessed
she goes crazy sometimes
and she might get mad
and she might start crying in front of everyone
well maybe shes not that different from me
but i still consider her to be a role model

Matt Morginsky is a rocker
sometimes punk, sometimes ska, sometimes geek
theres things i see in him that i reall want for me
he has a vocal range i could never match
and sometimes his words bring forth the most beautiful pictures
out there showing God's love
i know sometimes he'd rather be watching tv
well maybe hes not that different from me
but i still consider him to be a role model

and last but not least
someone i want to be more like
someone who gave his life
and took the bullet for me
its hard to understand
how someone would let themself die
so that someone else wouldnt have to
still this is a quality i look up to
so if its true "greater has no man than this,
that he lay down his life for his friends"
well i guess i could lay down a little more
be a little more loving to my neighbors
i'll never be perfect
but im perfect in the eyes of my friend
Jesus 
he took the bullet for me
and i know i have him in me
so maybe i can start to be more loving
i'll always consider him to be a role model
