| Christ our Salvation |
| We all know Hoku to be a devout Pentacostal Christian. I felt that talking about Christ would be appropriate. Something that we all need to think about. |
| No offense to Hoku, but I feel that this topic is even more important than talking about Hoku or N'sync, or anything the world of entertainment world has to offer, and I am sure that Hoku will agree with me on this one. |
| Shattered Dreams |
| When we first come to Christ, we often come with shattered dreams and unfilled desires. However, we can learn as time goes on to instead focus our attentions and redirect our goals to serving our risen savior. Yes the message of the cold empty tomb still rings in the hearts and minds of many believers today. He is not here, for he is risen! May we all each day learn to walk closer with Christ and share with others our hope and love that we find in Christ. |
| Cure to the greatest disease of all... |
| The answer is simple. The cure to the greatest disease of all is Christ. The greatest disease of all being sin. |
| Many times we feel sick not because of our own wrong doing, but because of the sin in this world. The agents of the devil use people from all walks of life to spread his disease called sin. |
| Often times, Christians become the unwitting agents of the devil when they help to spread the latest bit of gosip that they have heard. It is a great tragedy when we unknowing help the devil to destroy someone's reputation by spreading lies about them. Unfortunately, as human beings, we are all guilty of that, some more than others. Some may argue that a certain gender likes to do most of the that type of talking. It may be true, but statistically, only Christ can truly verify that. |
| Wouldn't it be great if we could all help to restore a wearied tired person's health, by helping to stop all the negative gossip and rumors directed against him or her? God has told us that when a sinner repents and learns to do good, the past evil he has done is forgotten. The scars of sin can be covered by Christ's overwhelming forgiveness. |
| New Christians. |
| New Christians are the ones who need the most help in their walk with Christ. They come from all walks of life, and all types of pasts. |
| Words of encourgagement bundled with loving kindness are always a great help to those in pain. Simple things like a hug or a pat on the back do much to ease the pain of a soul past afflicted with sin and the pleasures of this world. |
| Nobody can make you love your neighbor, but with the help of Christ, you can learn to love your neighbor and even your enemies. Christ asks us to do what seems to be the most impossible thing to do, love our enemies. He only asks us to do this because he knows that it is possible. He loved his enemies too. We have all at one time or another been Christ's enemies, but Christ loves us anyway. He forgives our pasts and helps us to live better lives with the help of special people he sends to guide new believers on their way. |
| Sometimes, "old" belivers need the same help that new belivers need. Maybe it is because they did not get enough help when they first started. The truth to the matter is that sometimes long-time Christians need to become new Christians. Sometimes long-time Christians need to unlearn bad habits started before they started their walk with Christ. It always helps if someone is there to help that person along the way. Everybody needs help sometimes. Often times people won't ask for help because of fear of people knowing that they need help. We can counter this problem by offering help to people we recognize could use such help. |

| I hope that Hoku hasn't minded me talking so much about Christ on a website that was supposed to be a tribute to her. Somehow, I have a feeling that she doesn't. If she has, I appologize. |
| Maybe one day Hoku will release a new album with the song "Perfect Day" on it, one of my personal favorites, which I guess is kind of stating the obvious. Pop music will most likely generate the most sales. However, if Hoku is the person I belive her to be, she may want to make her next album a Christian Album. Maybe she could have a bunch of new songs and a bunch of old favorite hymns on it, and album people of all age groups could enjoy. Even a couple of kid's songs for the little one's might be nice. One of the best things we can do in life is spread hope to others. I am certain that people like Hoku and many others out there can and will do just that. |

| Power in Prayer. |
| When Christians unite in prayer, miracles happen. Let us all pray that God will help make each and everyone of us whole, and we can all meet together in heaven with the Lord. Furthermore, let us pray that none of us gets there prematurely. May god give us all strength and good health, that we may all serve him by leading others to Christ. |
| The real "Perfect Day" |
| The real perfect day, will be when Christ returns and we can all unite together in heaven and live in harmony. By then, Christ will have helped us to love each other. Bitter enemies will have learned how to become friends. No longer will there be sickness or disease. We will all be united in our praises and adoration for the one who can save us all, Christ, our blessed hope and salvation. |
| Forgiveness |
| I hereby forgive all who may have offended me in the past. May it be so with me too. May God Bless us all, and may we meet together in the land where time has lost nearly all meaning, only that time will now be shared with Christ for all eternity. Pray that we all will be there! |
| No Ploy |
| Nope, this is not part of any big ploy. You see, sometimes when a person finds new meaning in Christ, he or she may feel the need to share his newly found insights with others. Often if may be a new Christian Convert, or a revitalized long-time believer who had been "asleep" for sometime. |
| Rumors |
| Rumors are a terrible thing. Sometimes you might wonder why Christians would want to help spread bad rumors about a particular person. Sometimes, something people heard and misunderstood the meaning of can be sent all over the place without anyway of stoping it. People who like to gossip alot can really cause trouble for another Christian. It is especially hard for the new believer, or somebody who is in serious need of spiritual revival. |
| You would think people would know better than to do things like that, but unfortunately, many people like to hear the latest bit of gossip and they like to spread it around and share it with their "friends" too. |
| That is not how it's going to be in heaven though. Fortunately, up there Christ is going to a cease to all this nonsense. |
| His record books are perfect, and cannot be tampered with to make a person look bad like they can be done so on earth. |
| Let us pray that somehow God can get rid of all the terrible rumors and lies that are spread around about some of Christ's followers so that they can lead happy normal lives. |
| May God have mercy on us all. |
| Not the most popular |
| Unfortunately, talking about Christ and his love is not the most popular thing to do, neither are the people who do. |
| Sometimes, if a new believer comes to Christ, people who knew this person before he or she was a Christian may even try to spread all kinds of rumors and terrible stories trying to get this person to point where he or she loses the new found gift he or she has found in Christ. |
| Let this not be so. |
| Let us pray that this not be so. Christ can perform miracles, and when Christians unite together to petition God to make these types of miracles happen, they can happen! All we need to do is call God's toll-free number to heaven! We don't need AT&T. We don't need Sprint, or Pacific Bell, or Bell Atlantic. We need to open up to God, and make our needs known to him who is unseen, to him who is all powerful! |
| God please save us all (yes that includes everybody, including Canadians)! |
| May never be the most popular |
| This may never be the most popular topic to talk about, but that is quite okay. It may just be the most important though. It may just help one lost hurting soul find his way back to Christ. That is probably the most important thing we can do as Christians. Help lost hurting souls find their way back to Christ. |
| Nobody can make you want to help poor lost hurting souls back to Christ, but with his help you can learn to want to do just that. |
| There are many ways to help poor lost hurting souls back to Christ. Words of encouragement, when someone is feeling low. Financial Support if the person is low on funds. The best way to help support a person financially is to help that person to attain suitable employment. Making a person feel useless and incapable of doing anything is not a good way to help them. Prayer, when the devil uses his agents to torment those people. |
| May we all win as many souls back to Christ as we can, so that there will be more of us up there in heaven. The more souls the merrier and the less lonesome it will be. |
| May we all do our best to win back friends and relatives that are in need of spiritual revival. We don't want them to be missed when "we all get to heaven." |

| Right or Wrong. |
| Who's right and who's wrong? Who knows but God? God has given us all part of his knowledge, none of us has all of it. |
| We all may try to serve God as best we can, but unfortunately, we can only do as well as we have been trained, and as well as we have learned. |
| This is why we need people to help the world understand the importance, the love, and the tremendous forgiveness of God. Those who do not understand about God's Love, Mercy, and Forgiveness need to learn about it and understand it. May God send people out there to help the world understand. |
| If we had enough people to do this, this whole world would be a better place to live in. Let us pray that this may be so. |
| Saving People |
| Only God can really save people, and sometimes God uses other people to save people. God can send friends, relatives, and sometimes even complete strangers to save people. |
| The internet can provide the information that somebody needs to be saved. Unfortunately, the internet can also do the opposite. It all depends on where you look. Are you looking in the right place? |
| God works in mysterious ways sometimes, but it's nice to know that he is in charge. Although sometimes it is a little hard to see that. |
| Favor with God |
| The one we need favor with the most is God, men may try and destroy us, but Christ will try to save us. May we all win favor with God, the one we need favor with the most. |
| Getting Attention. |
| You know sometimes people say things to get other people mad just to get people to pay attention to them. The best way to help curb that is to ignore that person when they say something annoying! |
| Try this, the next time somebody says something to try to get you mad, just smile and say "God Bless You!" |
| The annoying person, may just give up trying to be annoying, because being annoying just isn't working any more! Do you understand what I'm saying? In fact the annoying person, may just end up getting upset that he or she cannot annoy anybody any more! |

| Health Care Professionals |
| May God Bless all the Health Care Professionals out there who not only saves people's lives, but help to save people's souls too! |
| May God give strength and long life to people who help save other people and win them over to Christ! May he also do the same for students studying to do just that! |
| Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists, Dentists, Paramedics, etcetera-- God Bless you all! May the souls of the lives you save also be saved eternally for Christ! |
| Redemption and Salvation. |
| Christ offers us redemption and salvation. To those of us who accept his redemption and salvation, God promises to cover our sins with his righteousness. He becomes our defender, when the devil makes accusations against us, he rebukes the claims of the devil and covers us with his righteousness. |
| It is not our good works that can offer us redemption and salvation, it is his good works. Only what Christ has done can save us, what we do cannnot. |
| Special in God's eyes. |
| We are all special in God's eyes. God holds a special place in his heart for all of us. He wants to save all of us no matter who we are. Christ even wanted his greatest enemies and traitors to live and be saved! |
| If you don't believe me you can always read that special book of ours we call the Bible. |
| One of Christ greatest enemies, Saul, became Paul and one of the best supporters of Christ. It is because of Paul that Christianity reached far and wide among the non-Jewish population. Most of the other disciples focused primarily on the Jewish population. |
| Paul helped Christ see that most of the Roman Empire was able to get a basic understanding of Christ and his character. Paul is most definately a blessing. |
| Don't get me wrong now, the other disciples focused on the Jewish popluation because they felt that they were called to bring this knowledge to the "lost sheep" of Israel, and they did exactly as they felt they were called. Paul, brought the knowledge to who he felt that he was called to bring the knowledge to-- the rest of the world, and the world has been blessed by Paul's efforts ever since. |
